Russian visa requirements

The following documents should be submitted to the Russian Embassy or Consulate to obtain visa to enter Russia.

Russian Tourist Visa

1. Your passport, or a copy of the first page (Your  passport should be valid for at least 3 months after the visa expires);
2. 3 photos (30x40mm);
3. Russian Visa Application Form, filled in and signed;
4. Medical insurance, covering all the period you stay in Russia;
5. Tourist invitation letter to the Russian Federation from authorized Russian Travel Agencies.

After You submit all the documents and papers needed, it takes the consulate from 1 to 21 days to make a visa.

Russian Business Visa (Single, Double and Multiple-Entry)

1. Your passport or a copy of the first page (the passport should be valid for at least 6 months after the visa expires);
2. 3 photos (30x40mm);
3. Russian Visa Application Form, filled in and signed;
4. Medical insurance, covering all the period You stay in Russia;
5. If You stay in Russia over 3 months, or You have a multi entry visa, a HIV test is required;
6. Official invitation from an organization authorized to invite business visitors to Russia. An Invitation to Russia must be from the Russian Foreign Ministry or its regional representatives; The Ministry of Interior or its local offices; or other authorized Russian Agencies. The letter must contain: official seal and legal address of the agency, signature and name of official authorized to invite foreigners to Russia. The Embassy reserves the right to request the original invitation.

After You submit all the documents and papers needed, it should take the consulate from 1 to 21 days to make a visa.
