The following documents should be submitted to the Russian Embassy or Consulate to obtain visa to enter Russia.
Russian Tourist Visa

Your passport, or a copy of the first page (Your passport should be valid for at least 3 months after the visa expires);

3 photos (30x40mm);

Russian Visa Application Form, filled in and signed;

Medical insurance, covering all the period you stay in Russia;

Tourist invitation letter to the Russian Federation from authorized Russian Travel Agencies.
After You submit all the documents and papers needed, it takes the consulate from 1 to 21 days to make a visa.
Russian Business Visa (Single, Double and Multiple-Entry)

Your passport or a copy of the first page (the passport should be valid for at least 6 months after the visa expires);

3 photos (30x40mm);

Russian Visa Application Form, filled in and signed;

Medical insurance, covering all the period You stay in Russia;

If You stay in Russia over 3 months, or You have a multi entry visa, a HIV test is required;

Official invitation from an organization authorized to invite business visitors to Russia. An Invitation to Russia must be from the Russian Foreign Ministry or its regional representatives; The Ministry of Interior or its local offices; or other authorized Russian Agencies. The letter must contain: official seal and legal address of the agency, signature and name of official authorized to invite foreigners to Russia. The Embassy reserves the right to request the original invitation.
